JOB SAFETY ANALYSIS
A Job Safety Analysis (JSA) process is conducted and documented by a Contech supervisor for each shop or field construction task performed by a Contech employee.
JSA is a carefully structured process by which Contech work teams prevent safety incidents before they happen. Each work team - lead by its direct supervisor - develops a list of safety concerns regarding the task at hand. Then the team identifies and documents corrective actions associated with each of the safety concerns listed. The corrective actions are implemented and the written JSA plan is posted at the work site while the task is being performed.
